According to the 1976 DC Calendar, today is Aquaman's birthday! It's also, entirely coincidentally I'm sure, Steve Skeates' birthday.

Happy Birthday Aquaman

According to the DC 1976 Calendar, today is Aquaman's birthday! It's also the birthday of Aquaman writer Steve Skeates! So Happy Birthday to Aquaman and one of his best writers!

Aquaman #57 was shipped 17 Oct 2007. This was the final issue of the most recent Aquaman series.

Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis ended with issue #57. Joseph Curry is currently attempting to live up to Arthur Orin Curry's legacy. He has stated that he intends to find and restore the original Aquaman, or die trying.

The character of Aquaman is in limbo at DC at the moment, available for use in other projects. The editors have not decided when or how to bring him back. Rest assured, however, that he will appear with some frequency regardless of whether or not he gets his own book.
