They find Superman and Wonder Woman and are attacked by the Trench, and rescued just in time by Mera and Cyborg, who followed Batman's communicator signal. They quickly defeat the few Trench around, but Aquaman realizes there must be more. | |||

Vulko wants Arthur to be king, and started the whole battle just to show everyone who is better. Or something like that. It was a well thought-out plan, but very nasty. Living in Norway clearly didn't do much for Vulko's state of mind. | |||

"Throne of Atlantis" continues from this month's Justice League #16! Torn between Ocean Master and the League in this penultimate chapter of "Throne of Atlantis," Aquaman is pushed toward an impossible choice! The monstrous Trench are back — and they're hungry!
Synopsis
Cyborg makes a sacrifice to save the rest of the team, and the traitor to Atlantis is finally revealed.
Summary
