Summary
In a flashback, Mera pledges to kill Aquaman.
At Rudy's Grocery in Amnesty Bay, Mera runs into a sexist manager who takes too much interest in her body. Mera breaks his arm when he refuses to stop touching her. A security guard and police attempt to take her into custody, but she refuses until a report comes over the radio of a man who murdered his wife escaping custody. She surrenders.
At the home of the man who killed his wife, Mera breaks the handcuffs and approaches the murderer, who is holding his daughter hostage. Mera drains the water from his body until the daughter begs him to stop. Mera then leaves.
Back at the lighthouse, an employee of the grocery store approaches and gives Mera some dog food. Mera remembers telling her father that Aquaman isn't what they thought he was and being exiled for it.
Aquaman tells Mera that they need to go see Dr. Shin about who sank Atlantis.

Mera's attempt to buy dog food only turned out bad because the guy at the grocery was incredibly creepy. If she'd run into a more normal situation, it would not have been a problem.
Mera starts to tell Aquaman about her troubles with the local authorities, but he's busy thinking about his newest quest: to find out who sank Atlantis.
