Aquaman has been left for dead in the middle of the desert! But how did the King of Atlantis find himself marooned in such a hellish environment? As Aquaman struggles to survive impossible odds, what extreme measures will he resort to in order to stay alive?

Synopsis

Aquaman ends up in the desert after trying to help the military with an ancient Atlantean artifact.

Summary

The military calls Aquaman after an artifact they pried off the wall that Aquaman and Mera brought up from the Trench starts to broadcast. While examining the device, the base is attacked by Atlanteans who steal it and attempt to flee. Aquaman manages to hitch a ride with them, but in the ensuing fight the craft explodes and Aquaman ends up in the desert.

Aquaman finds the craft and the device, along with the dead Atlanteans. He puts the device in water and sees a recording that says Atlantis is in danger of being sunk.

Aquaman is rescued by the Navy, but Mera is out when he returns to the lighthouse.
