The original preview cover shows Aquaman bursting through the cover of the first issue of this series. The final cover shows him bursting through the second page of the story. This issue also has a sketch variant cover.
The zero issues contained origin stories. This one slightly contradicts Dr. Shin's story (in issue #10) that Aquaman went after Manta the day of his father's funeral, but does reveal what Tom Curry's last words to Arthur were.
