After the events of Blackest Night, Aquaman and Mera have to deal with his resurrection and her rage that led her to become a Red Lantern.

Aquaman and Mera stay at a lighthouse. While Mera is ready to move on, Aquaman feels uneasiness and seems to be almost afraid of the water.
Brightest Day 1
Aquaman and Mera attack a ship of pirates, and Aquaman discovers to his horror that the sea life he is summoning is all dead.
Elsewhere, a man hears of Aquaman's return and becomes murderous, killing everyone in the shop he works at. He then enters the water and emerges as Black Manta.
