Aquaman doesn't manage to stop Manta from delivering the Scepter to whoever he was working with, but does manage to capture Manta.

Aquaman swears to kill Manta and asks Mera to get the Others to safety and return Vostok's body home. But before he can catch up, Manta uses the globe to teleport away.
On the Others' plane, the Operative attempts to track Manta through his use of the globe. It eventually stops in the eye of a storm, and the Others head to the location.
Manta delivers the Scepter to an Atlantean ship, but Aquaman and the Others arrive and disrupt the transfer. The Atlanteans escape with the Scepter when Manta distracts the Others. Aquaman stops Manta and takes him into custody, but refuses to kill him.
After turning over Manta to authorities, Aquaman suggests that Prisoner go visit the families of the soldiers he is haunted by to give them peace.

Synopsis
