"Denial Ain't Just A River In Egypt" Award to Aquaman #32
Aquaman "Sea of Green": Diamond didn't bother to ship this to Columbus until this week. Yay.
The theme of this issue is that you can be way too powerful for your own good without being powerful enough to beat a force of nature. The villain of the piece has a link to The Green and hopes to overpower the Swamp Thing, and Aquaman has been boosting in power and tries to beat up the Swamp Thing when they first meet. It's not nice to mess with Mother Nature. Or with big muck-monsters who are close personal pals of Mother Nature. After the villain du jour has been taken care of Swampy does an intervention on Aquaman, pointing out his problem is with his ancestors. Anyone NOT seeing a reappearance by Kordax coming raise your hands. No one? Good. Especially after Kordax's voice pushed Arthur to kill last issue.
