COMMENTS:
This cover has a standard Eric Battle layout, which isn't a terribly good thing. The idea of a cover is to draw the reader into a story as well as place an emphasis on the main character. Battle likes drawing Aquaman small and in the corner. I can't decide whether this is innovation or just bad planning. Battle draws a whole lotta fish for once, but the fish are colored badly and boringly by the Hories, who seem to have a very limited range of colors in their coloring program and a fear of using any truly bright color. So what could have been an interesting showcase of Battle's skill turns again into a muddy and bland mess.
Review of the story will come when I read it. It won't be anytime soon.
