OVERVIEW:

Aquaman decides to go after Mera, Dolphin reveals she's pregnant to a very surprised Tempest, P-Man terrorizes the Poseidonian underworld, The Lurkers tell Aquaman they are using the Fire Trolls' tunnels, Mera goes Vegas and Aquaman makes a fool of himself, Garth angsts over Dolphin's pregnancy, Aquaman finds a bush beating up on Deep Blue and then takes her home with him.

COMMENTS:

A pretty good cover. Mera is actually wearing clothes, and Noble looks decent for the first time. The reflection of Aquaman, cleanshaven and angry, is a nice touch.

More out-of-character Garth. 'Nuff said.

More Barbie Doll Mera. 'Nuff said.

How on Earth did Aquaman come to the conclusion that the pieces of scrap Mera was wearing was a wedding dress? Is he on the drug that's been smuggled around the city?

Where'd the bush come from, and why was Aquaman out there to find it?

CONCLUSION:

The art was actually decent, but the story is still too weak and disjointed. With Battle coming back next issue, there's no point in buying this book.
