Aquaman: Definitely a better way to do the crossover schtick. The new and improved Major Disaster has been delegated the task of killing Aquaman (is this UU or Acts of Violence?). With his new understanding of how his powers work, of how he can make everything that is connected fall apart, he weaves an intricate and poetic plan which ends with the death of Aquaman.

Of course, fortunately for Arthur, he's not currently Aquaman. Thanatos has usurped the role and usurps the death as well. Nifty. I wonder if Thanatos's declaration of war will be taken seriously?

Meanwhile, Arthur tries to figure out just what the hell (TM) is going on. Mera's memories are confused, especially about the time just about when she conceived Arthur Junior. So he may be Arthur's son, he may be Thanatos's. And if he's Arthur's, then he and Kory are just NOT gonna get along (as Arthur direly warns).

Meanmeanwhile, down in the tunnels, Vulko finds Virgil's bedroom or something (sorry, Mighty Max reference). A series of paintings are found which outline the sinking of Atlantis, the coming of Kordax and possibly Atlan. Paintings which had to have been made long before those events happened. WoooEEEooo!

Oh, and speaking of Atlan, while Arthur's trying to get the magic Picture Picture working, he finds a direct line to dear ol' Dad.

Anyway, easily the best thing about this issue is Major Disaster's parts. He's found out that his wish came with a cost beyond the simple sale of his soul...he can now see every possible disaster, he knows the horrible truths of despair and decay. Very tragic, even for a villain.
