OVERVIEW:

An Inupiat village, home of Kako and Koryak, is suffering from attacks by a mysterious monster from the depths.

Aquaman, Dolphin, and Garth return to Hawaii to confront Admiral Strom, only to find that he has left. They return to Poseidonis. Dolphin asks Aquaman about the name Strom called him before, "Orin". He says it is his real name.

While Dolphin and Orin talk, Garth and Vulko discuss the Sher'Hedeen, the people who may live near where Garth had his encounter with "Tula".

Garth and Aquaman argue about Aquaman's desire to find Atlan, his father, and Garth goes off on his quest to find Tula alone.

Aquaman and Dolphin go to visit Kako, and find Koryak, who immediately attacks Aquaman. Kako arrives in time to inform Aquaman that Koryak is his son.

COMMENTS:

Koryak is working hard to defend his village against an unknown threat, surrounded by villagers who don't like him.

Aquaman and Dolphin begin to romance each other, but the harpoon hand gets in the way.

And Garth, poor Garth, still not over Tula's death, thinks she might have been raised from the dead by the Sher'heden...

Lobo ripped Aquaman's previous shirt to threads in the last issue, so this issue he gets a new costume.

CONCLUSION:

Important for the introduction of Aquaman's other son, and for the introduction of the new costume. This issue also take Garth off into unknown worlds, away from Aquaman.
