OVERVIEW:
The Atlanteans have attacked again and again, always having to retreat back to the city. Still the enemy doesn't attack. The general gathers his troops for one final assault.
Aquaman watches the assault wave go out, and summons all his telepathic power, and calls the sea life to fight with his people. With the sea fighting for them, the city wins.
Aquaman faints after the battle, and is carried to his palace unconscious.
He chooses not to remain king, and leaves yet again.
COMMENTS:
Why didn't Aquaman use his powers earlier?
Some of the jellyfish escape to fight another day.
Jellyfish?!??!?? Why Jellyfish? *sigh*
The final essay by Mark Waid is in the back. It doesn't mention the Legend of Aquaman, the new origin that came out the same year as the mini, but I think they came out about the same time.
CONCLUSION:
Rating: 6
Predictable ending.
