			Orm is freed when the Crime Syndicate arrives, but doesn't return to the ocean.

			Orm's lawyer sums up the case against Orm, including the fact that thousands of people died in the Atlantean attack. Orm shows no interest in the case, telling the lawyer his opinion is irrelevant. While they are talking, a kind prison guard brings Orm his water. Then the lights go out, as the crime syndicate attacks the prison.

			Orm retrieves his gear and leaves with the rest of the prisoners, but finds the kind guard severely injured. He kills the guard as an act of mercy after learning from him that the sea is 10 miles south. Orm starts walking.

			At a diner, he stops for directions, but the prisoners there attack him. In fighting them off he inadvertently saves their next victim. The woman begs for help from Orm in finding her son, who is only eight years old. He ignores her, even when they reach the house of the babysitter and find prisoners attacking. Orm goes into the ocean, but his conscience pulls him back.

			This features a 3-D motion cover or a standard cover. The 3-D motion cover has very little more than the regular except a sense of motion.

			Orm doesn't understand that the guard is asking for medical attention. Instead he gives him mercy with very kind eyes (the artist outdid himself there). That's one of the freakiest panels I've seen in comic books.

			We [[Aquaman (2011) 25\|later learn that Orm stayed]] with the woman, whose name is Erin, and her son Tommy.
