Aquaman Annual: Two storytellers with Trumanesque (the artist, not the president) appearance meet on a bridge and tell stories to determine who will back down. Nice little conceit, but it only goes so far.

The stories are tales of what the future thinks the present-day Aquaman was like, making this feel more like an Elseworlds Annual from two years ago than a Dead Earth one.

The first story involves an Aquaman who is king and ruler of the only source of fresh water on a dry Earth. The second has Arthur as the villain in his sky city and Ocean Master as the hero. Both try too hard to work in the various elements of the current story (the magic sword "Garth"? Sigh) and pretty much are flat tales. Hannigan's mediocre and overly gaudy art doesn't help any.
